Board-certified psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner

“My goal is to make care feel approachable, personal, and connected to your life.”

I’m Eddie. I’ve worked in mental health and psychiatry since 2018, with experience in both inpatient and outpatient settings. I earned my degrees at Stony Brook University, including a master’s in psychiatric mental health nursing.

I bring a down-to-earth, collaborative approach to our work. That means listening to your experience, explaining your options, and building a plan together. Medication, therapy, and conversations about lifestyle can all have a place in your care.

You can expect a supportive space where questions are welcome and your goals help guide treatment.

INSURANCE & PAYMENT

Let’s talk about
access to care.

Insurance and private pay options are available. Coverage, network status, and costs depend on your specific plan and how care is arranged.

Please confirm your exact plan and benefits before a visit. Some plans are arranged directly with the practice rather than through Headway. A listed carrier does not guarantee in-network coverage.

For private pay rates or out-of-network care, please call. Superbills are available; reimbursement depends on your plan.

A FEW COMMON QUESTIONS

A little more clarity.

Can we meet virtually?

Yes. Virtual psychiatric care is available for patients in New York State. In-person visits are also offered at the Melville office. Confirm the visit format when scheduling.

Do I have to take medication?

We’ll discuss your concerns and the options that may be appropriate for you. Treatment decisions are collaborative, and a visit does not automatically mean a prescription.

What should I bring to the first visit?

A current medication list, information about previous treatment, and your questions are helpful. If you’re using insurance, have your plan information available when arranging your appointment.

What if my insurance isn’t on Headway?

Call the practice to ask about your plan, private pay, or out-of-network options. The plans available through Headway may differ from those handled directly by the practice.
